Dr. Kilgallon has a varied and impressive background, with an English literature degree from Princeton University and a veterinary medicine degree from Tufts University.

After her graduation from Tufts, Dr. Kilgallon completed a surgical internship, followed by a residency in large animal surgery, both at the University of Pennsylvania, New Bolton Center. Dr. Kilgallon became board certified in large animal surgery in 1994.
