Endeavor offers recreation or competition based therapeutic riding lessons for individuals of all levels, hippotherapy, and ground programming to individuals with special needs, at-risk youth and residential facilities.

Endeavor
Founded in November of 2014, Endeavor is a PATH International Member Center and a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation located at 1 Succabone Rd, Bedford, NY 10506. Endeavor offers recreation or competition based therapeutic riding lessons for individuals of all levels, hippotherapy, and ground programming to individuals with special needs, at-risk youth and residential facilities. We believe that our horses educate, empathize and empower our participants, their family, and our larger community. We welcome all siblings of active participants to enroll in our programs.

HorseAbility Therapeutic Riding Program, Hippotherapy Program, and Summer Day Camp offers a wide range of horse-related programs to children, adults, and families with special needs to promote the physical, psychological, emotional, social, and spiritual well being of its participants.

HorseAbility
HorseAbility is a therapeutic riding program located in Melville, NY. For the past five years, Miller & Associates has donated veterinary services to HorseAbility. Several of the horses used at HorseAbility for therapeutic riding are former show horses, some of which have been donated to the program by clients of Miller & Associates. Very few horses have a temperament suitable for therapeutic riding, so keeping them healthy and sound is especially important. We are proud to be a part of their well-being.

HorseAbility is a non-profit organization catering to the special needs community. It’s mission is to offer a wide variety of horse related programs to children, adults, and families promoting their physical, psychological, emotional, social and spiritual development and well being. The population HorseAbility serves ranges from those who are physically challenged (e.g. people with cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and visual impairments), to those with developmental and cognitive disabilities, or emotionally disabilities (e.g. people with interpersonal difficulties and psychological impairments).

HorseAbility was founded by Katie McGowan in 1993 and has grown from a single horse program to an extensive non-profit organization with 14 horses. It offers therapeutic riding lessons, hippotherapy treatment sessions, and hosts a week long camp every summer. In addition, riders from HorseAbility compete at the Long Island Horse Show Series for Riders with Disabilities, including the LIHSSRD Finals held at the Hampton Classic Horse Show.
